Welcome, I’m glad you’re here. While working together, I aim to be your mirror, holding steady through the trials and triumphs of self reflection, to support your journey of personal growth. I will help you identify patterns of thought and behavior that are no longer serving you or your vision for peace, happiness and health. Together, we will create time, space and energy for you to reach your goals. I strive to instill hope, improve self-regulation and relaxation, forge new and positive behaviors and relationships with yourself and the world around you, which serve you in living your life, not just surviving. I have been providing therapy for 13 years across behavioral and mental health settings as a Behavior Specialist, Family Based Therapist and EAP Care Manager, working with children age 5 to adults, both in the community, client homes and in office. I am deeply knowledgeable and experienced in Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma/ PTSD, Relationship Issues (couples and family), Grief and Chronic Illness. Therapeutic models I use include ESFT, CBT, ACT and DBT. I am also a Holy Fire Reiki II practitioner and often integrate techniques to support in nervous system regulation and mindfulness, to enhance healing.

Therapist

Curiosity is the strongest tool we have in our lives, and together, we will ignite that curiosity to explore the peaks and depths of your unique experiences - past, present, and future. We will learn to manage the discomfort of growing upwards and outwards to create the life you envision for yourself through self-reflection and commitment to yourself. Most importantly, YOU are the always expert in the space we share together - I am simply accompanying you on this journey towards achieving your goals. My approach is psychodynamic, integrating person-centered, ACT, strengths-based, and solution-focused brief therapy interventions. Multicultural competence is a foundational component to my counseling style, inviting clients to share their own cultural identities, spiritual beliefs, and personal values to align our work with their lifestyle.

I am especially passionate about men's mental health issues across the lifespan, such as navigating relational identity development and emotional awareness and regulation. I work with all adults, 18yo through aging, experiencing life transitions, identity development, relational challenges, and evolving family dynamics (blended families; single parents; divorce/separation).
